Happy Hump Day!
It's Wednesday, just another day for me but a great day for my friends who work the M-F gig! So happy hump day to my working friends. On to the countdowns....
165 days till Disney World! 164 days till Georgia for my cousin Jeffrey's wedding. Only 16 days till Wildwood. I love vacations, can not wait! I need my Curly's Fries, Hassels ice cream, Sam's Or Macks's pizza, Laura's fudge & Maui Dogs!! Vacation = free to eat what I want!
I had to put Lucas in his crib for a time out, hopefully he will go down for his nap as usual. I'm not sure what time he woke up this morning, I heard him in his crib talking & playing with his toys around 8-8:30 but didn't go in to get him until 9 which makes sense since he did not go to bed until 9 last night, he sat in his crib playing for the hour. He needed a time out he kept throwing the balls from his ball pit out onto the living room floor, every time I told him to leave the balls in the pit he would laugh and chuck more out at me. So I smacked his hand, well, he kept laughing - so time out it was! I also folded up the pit and put it away. He is learning but some things just don't get through to his stubborn brain!
Yesterday I went to the library (haven't been there since I was pregnant), it was Lucas's first time & who knows the last time Jim actually stepped foot inside one! I picked up The Great Gatsby, should always read the book before seeing the movie! It shouldn't take me long to read (ha, yeah right, I have a toddler running around), I'll just wait for him to go to bed & when he takes 3 hour naps.
I'm sitting here typing & hear a helicopter not thinking anything of it since I live near the Blvd & airport. Then I see breaking news on channel 6, they have a car pulled over on the Blvd that they think is a stolen car from earlier today. I get up to look out the window & see the helicopter flying over the Blvd, makes sense!
I think Lucas fell asleep finally. I am going to go check on him & close his bedroom door. Maybe I will shave my legs & read T.G.G. Perhaps get a snack also! I love nap time.
