Another week gone by.

I wish there were cooler fonts I could choose! 

 Anywho, Wildwood was nice. Friday was beautiful we played on the beach & rode the rides! Lucas & Noah (my 2nd cousin, what does that make him to Lucas?) had a great time together.  Saturday was a bit overcast but not bad. Saturday night, it rained so we couldn't do any more rides. Sunday, complete waste of a day :( We had Maui-Dogs and left at 1pm. We had a fare share of yummy food all weekend! Pedro's pizza, Laura's fudge, Hassel's ice cream, Samuel's Pancakes, Curley's & Maui-Dogs. I'm surprised I didn't gain any weight. A swim would have been nice on Friday but it never happened. Can't wait for warmer weather.

 This week is moving slow, must be the heat! I'm running the AC in my apartment & car...not ready for this weather just yet! The bedrooms get incredibly warm (unbearable to sleep without a fan or AC on), Lucas only has a fan & I can't leave his door open or else Sonny will get in. They should have put AC units in both bedrooms, why only in 1? Stupid apartments, I hate renting.

 Watching Dancing With the Stars, go Derek & Kellie! I had them picked as the winners since episode 1! We will see soon!  YAY, they won!!! I should start placing money on these competitions!

 Jim cleaned *almost* the entire apartment this morning when I took Lucas to the Y for his mommy & me class. I was a little shocked that he wanted to clean...but I let him, I am allergic to everything in the apartment anyway (for those of you who do not know, I am allergic to: Pollen, dust mites, mold, ragweed, dogs, cats/pet dander, grass, trees, etc... Pretty much everything you can not fully control! I had him take down all of the curtains, amazing how much more open the rooms feel without them, I don't think I am putting them back up! Maybe I will get some valences to add a pop of color.

 It is so hard to believe that Memorial Day & the holiday weekend is coming up, already! Where is the time going? I have a 19 month old!!! This time thing is crazy. 

 Well, I will leave everyone with a photo of Lucas as an infant that still makes me smile!

2020....in a nutshell....

2020 has been.....yeah....I can only sum it up with "What The Hell?!" January - Started with a great NYE & parade. I saw what should have been the first of many concerts for the year. Work returned to normal, post holiday saneness. February - Work & kids, repeat... March - Where sh*t hit the fan! The last of the normal we once knew. The week of St. Paddy's day was the last thing we did as groups before social distancing and what not took hold. 8 months later, not much has changed. Covid is still here, I had it back in November and it sucked. I had to miss Liam's birthday because I was in isolation. I also missed Thanksgiving. I don't wish it on my enemy.  We have our president-elect Joe Biden, and the first female vice president-elect Kamala Harris. Change is nice. I took on a full time position at work which was a great opportunity for me. I enjoy working, and I like the change of scenery of being in a different mall.  Life is still moving along. Going through divorce is a very time consuming process, getting responses from email takes forever. It's already been a month since I mailed the documents. The boys are still virtual learning. This is the first week back after winter break. Lucas is still an A+ student. I don't know where he gets it from! Must have skipped a generation. Winter break was nice for the boys. We went to Six Flags and got to enjoy very little crowds. Now we wait for the new season! Lucas...

What happens when years go by...

Life is Hard.... ...work has had me working my ass off the last few weeks. I put in 56 hours 2 weeks ago. The holiday season has me stressed at work. I need harder workers and people who actually want to come to work. ...the kids have me on my toes on the daily. Lucas and his ADHD/ODD is hard as shit to deal with. He gets me so stressed. I try my hardest, I really do. I sometimes wonder where I went wrong. ...relationships take work, I get that....but sometimes I have my doubts... ...I am happiest when I am at concerts and I get the chance to unwind and enjoy myself in my element.  ...Jennifer is my best friend, we go to every concert together. We can tell each other everything. ...my family is holding itself together still. It's been extremely hard since my Pop-Pop passed away in April 2018, things still have not been the same since.
