2020....in a nutshell....
2020 has been.....yeah....I can only sum it up with "What The Hell?!"
January - Started with a great NYE & parade. I saw what should have been the first of many concerts for the year. Work returned to normal, post holiday saneness.
February - Work & kids, repeat...
March - Where sh*t hit the fan! The last of the normal we once knew. The week of St. Paddy's day was the last thing we did as groups before social distancing and what not took hold. Life was thrown through a loop for everyone, everywhere.
April - Unemployed & kids being home schooled. A new "normal" was taking place, and it was weird. My anxiety was through the roof and I was having a crazy hard time with it. I need to work & keep busy, it was not happening and it was taking its toll on me. I did finally return to work at the end of the month after almost 3 weeks on unemployment, it was nice to get back into 8 hour days & working hard. I spent way too much on things I really probably didn't need....but hey, I have cute shoes & clothes!
May - When we thought things may possibly go back to normal, it still hasn't. More work, more home schooling, more craziness. Family has been quarantined with the virus. But life must go on. Got a beach visit in, which helped my mood a little. The ocean cures all.
It's now the end of May and who knows when things will be okay to resume like before. I miss my friends, family, and live music. I just hope schools will resume with no issues in the fall. Everything else can be rescheduled for later dates. The kids need to have a normal school year, especially with Liam starting kindergarten.
