The Thoughts of Laura

My last update was in May! My, how I have been slacking! It's a boy! Lucas Gavin Been was born on October 19th, 2011 @ 7:39am. He weighed in at 7lbs., 13oz. and 20.5" long! The labor and delivery went well. I started having contractions on the 18th at around 6:45am when I was getting ready for work. The contractions were 10 minutes apart and 30 seconds long. I left work around 2pm because I had a non-stress test at 3pm. When I went to the appointment they said the contractions were not close enough to be admitted yet. They told us that I would probably be back within 24 hours and to just go home and relax. I went to my parents and the whole way home the contractions were still 10 minutes apart but getting a bit stronger. We had Santucci's for dinner and I just tried to chill. My dad drove Jim and I home around 9pm, and told us that he would more than likely be calling out of work because he knew I would be calling him to take us to the hospital to have Lucas before midni...

So I am far behind on updating this thing! So much has gone on since my last post! After only 1 week of trying, I found out I was pregnant on February 7th! I am due on October 16th! Which is pretty cool since that is our 1 year anniversary! However, the first due date we were given was October 5th. I go for my 2nd ultrasound on Friday the 13th! Only 5 more days until I get to see the babies face & all of their fine details! I can not wait to find out what we are having! If it's a boy, his name will be Lucas Michael Been! For a girl Emma Been; we are still working on a middle name for a girl! I AM BEYOND EXCITED!! Been got a promotion at work, which is awesome news! And everything is going great with us, it's crazy that we've already been married for 7 months! And even more crazy is the fact that there is only 5 months left in the pregnancy, time sure does fly! We made our registry through Babies R' Us, and I am working on the baby shower invitations still! Sno...
