Over a year, already?
Is it possible that it has been over a year since my last post? That is a crazy thought. Lucas is 18 months, where did the time go?!
My little peanut is not so little anymore, he has his 18 month appt. on Monday morning, at the last visit he was 24lbs. & 32" tall. Life with Lucas has been fantastic, every day is something new with him. My little man is so intelligent and catches on to things so quickly.
Here is a quick run down:

Here is a quick run down:
- Mom was his first word!
- His language development is fantastic-surprised the ped at his 12 month appt. He knows 15 words and picking up more every week!
- He started walking around 12-13 months.
- He currently has 12 teeth with 2 coming in.
- He loves to read.
- Follows directions pretty well, still working on some things.
- Very independent & stubborn!
- LOVES music & mummers!
- And we are starting the potty training process, I think he is going to pick up on it very quickly!
I could go on and on about Lucas! But there is enough about his every day happenings on my Facebook! I should make him his own to keep track of everything, he is a very popular toddler.
There is not too much new with me. I was laid off in November & it has been the best 5 months, ever. The money sucks but for Lucas's sake it is totally worth it. He has me home every day which is perfect for him & myself. I'm not sure what is going to happen in the next few months but if I have to work, part time is what I prefer.
New years day has come and gone, not going to get into all of that. Drama of Mummers! We came in 2nd, damn dragon. The future is a bit unclear right now. The string band serenade was great. PA is a great group of guys, very welcoming & friendly to everyone. I miss playing bass with a band, it has been a very long (nearly 3 years) hiatus! Ugh, I need to play again!!!
Jim and I have been married for 2.5 years, things are good, every marriage has its moments! Our 3rd anniversary will be special, just as Lucas's 2nd birthday will be......we are celebrating both in DISNEY WORLD!!! SO excited!
Oh, on the animal front my hamster died last March which prompted me to go and get a guinea pig that I named Sophie not even a week later. She is all black which is what attracted me, she was different than the 2 "generic" guniea pigs in the cage with her! We also had to return Lily to Paws in September, she was not good with Lucas & was very spiteful. It was tough, but I am hoping she is better now & with a more fitting family.
For right now, I think that is all I have to report on.
